The white horsemen of Revelation 6 and 19

The white horseman of Revelation 19
Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.13 And he was clothed with a clothing dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.15 And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.16 And he has on his clothing and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Note:  11 signs in REV 19: 11-16
1.       The horseman is called: faithful and true.
2.       He makes war in righteousness and judges in righteousness.
3.       Eyes as flames of fire.
4.       Many crowns (plural) are on his head.
5.       He has a name not known to any man-only himself.
6.       His cloth is dipped in blood.
7.       He is the word of God.
8.       He has a sharp edged sword from his mouth.
9.       He will smite the nations,
10.   Rule with an iron rod.
11.  He is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
THE HORSE MAN OF REVELATION 19 IS EASILY IDENTIFIED. BUT LETS SEE THE SCRIPTURES THAT IDENTIFY HIM .
He is the word of God
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

This is the scripture used to introduce Christ in the Gospel of John

He is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
1Tim 6:14 That you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:15 Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

THIS HORSEMAN IS FURTHER IDENTIFIED IN REVELATION 1-3

John is in the Isle that is called Patmos   banished there as part of persecution for His testimony of Jesus Christ when a great voice like a trumpet spoke to him from behind:

Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia; to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.

Rev 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;13 And in the middle of the seven candlesticks one like to the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the breasts with a golden girdle.
Rev 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in his strength.

In verse 18  the being described by John in verse 13 as one like to ‘the Son of Man’ now identifies himself.

 Rev 1:18 I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for ever more, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

After this He goes on to Dictate 7 letters each to a church as per the instructions He had earlier given in Rev 1: 11 to John.  In the letters he dictates His identity is fully revealed beyond reasonable doubt. Below are verses in the letters that identify him fully:
Rev 2:8 And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things said the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things said he which has the sharp sword with two edges;
Rev 2:18 And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things said the Son of God, who has his eyes like to a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
Rev 3:14 And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things said the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
See also Colossians
Col 1: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

So we now know who is the Being with eyes like a flame of fire: it’s the Son of God. Further evidence is revealed in the other letters He dictates to the Churches. But I believe the above review of scriptures sufficiently identifies the rider of the white horse in Revelation 19:- JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD.

So Jesus is the rider of the white horse of revelation 19 and bears the 11 signs in REV 19: 11-16. We can prove all of the 11 signs as identifiers of Christ from Scripture but the objective of this article is to prove the identity of the  rider of Rev 19  and the rider of Revelation 6 and so far the rider of revelation 19 has been sufficiently identified. So lets turn to the other rider of revelation 6.

The horseman of Revelation 6

Rev 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given to him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Note:
1.       The horse is white.
2.       The rider has a bow (no mention of arrows).
3.       A crown (singular) is given to him.
4.       He set out to conquer.
Differences with the rider in Revelations 19 :
1.       Jesus in Rev 19 has many crowns. The rider of Rev 6 has 1 crown
2.       Jesus is the Lamb opening the seals [Rev 6:1 ] in Heaven releasing the four apocalyptic horsemen to the earth to do the work that HE –Jesus- in Mathew 24 referred to as the beginning of sorrows. It would be unlikely that the one releasing the horseman is at the same time the horseman being released.
3.       This horseman cannot be the Holy Spirit for we know that the Holy Spirit was given to the body of Christ on earth on the day of Pentecost  yet the prophesies of John in Revelation are given years after the day of Pentecost for John receives the Prophecy when he is exiled in Patmos Island years after Pentecost being persecution for his testimony of Jesus
Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The prophecy of Revelations is about the future. John was instructed to write starting with what he saw (while on the island) what was and what was to come.
Rev 1:19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
4.     Besides the Holy Spirit at Pentecost descended as tongues of fire not as a horseman riding a white horse.
Acts 2:3 And there appeared to them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat on each of them.4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

By and large White is the color of peace in Earth. When soldiers in battle seek to surrender to their enemies they would hoist up a white flag so that the other side does not open fire on them as they come out to surrender. A white horseman going to conquer with a bow and without arrows indicates that he shall accomplish his conquests without firing a shot i.e through Deception. It would be sufficient to describe this rider as a DECEIVER.

In Mattew 24 :4-8 Jesus gives the prophesy of the end times as follows and in the following order:
Matt 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Matt 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Matt 24:6 And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Matt 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Matt 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
1.       Deception (in the church) – white horseman
[false teachers, false apostles, false Gospels such as  the infamous Gospel of prosperity, horizontal teachings, ….. ]
2.       Wars and rumors of war - red horseman
3.       famines, and  - black horseman
4.       pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places – Pale horseman (kill 25% population by sword, famine, disease, and wild animals)
